Today’s cosplay of the day is Ikayrus as Pokemon’s Misty.

Misty’s First Appearance
Misty first appeared in the original Pokemon games of Pokemon Red and Blue. She is the Gym Leader of the Cerulean Gym, the second Gym the player comes across.
She primarily uses water Pokemon and her team in Pokemon Red and Blue consists of a Staryu and Starmie.
Misty in the Anime
Misty is one of the main characters in the original Pokemon anime series. She appears in the first episode titled, ‘Pokemon, I Choose You!” In fact, she rescues Ash and his Pikachu after they had been chased by a flock of Spearow. She even lets Ash borrow her bicycle.
Misty would eventually track Ash down after discovering her bike had been severely burnt. She demands Ash pay for the damages and begins to follow him on his journey throughout the Kanto region, the Orange Archipelago, and the Johto region.
Misty Voice Actresses
Misty is voiced by Japanese voice actress Mayumi Iizuka. The English voice was provided by Rachael Lillis from Episode 001 to Advanced Generation episode 134. Michelle Knotz also provides the English voice for Misty. She began doing Misty’s voice work in The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon and has continued to the present.
