BOOM! Studios and Hasbro will be introducing a brand new Power Ranger in their ongoing Power Rangers series as the story hurtles closer to the Eltarian War.

In a press release, BOOM! Studios detailed that the upcoming Power Rangers #12 comic from writer Ryan Parrott, artist Francesco Mortarino, colorist Raúl Angulo with color assistance by Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire will introduce a new Power Ranger.

This upcoming issue will set the stage for the crossover event the Eltarian War, which is expected to take place in the ongoing Power Rangers series as well as the Mighty Morphin series later in October.

BOOM! Studios specifically states, “As the Empyreals carry out their final task before the war is fully underway, the Rangers fight to survive the aftermath of their destruction on an alien planet.”
