Sasha Banks also known as Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado recently revealed she would not be returning to The Mandalorian for Season 3.

Banks played the Mandalorian warrior Koska Reeves in two episodes of Season 2. Most notably she appeared in the season finale, where she got into a bar fight with Boba Fett and appeared to manhandle him quite easily.

Speaking with the Bleacher Report, Banks confirmed she would not be returning to the show.

She told them, “First of all, thanks for trying to get that out, but I’m not on the next season.”

“The projection of that show was overwhelming. I legit felt like I was in a galaxy so far, far away. I felt like I was on a different planet,” she added.

The WWE Superstar continued, “It was something I will always take with me and I took so much of what I learned from acting with them and being with so many great stars to WWE.”

“It really helped my confidence as well when I came back from doing The Mandalorian two years ago. It was such a learning curve and something I wasn’t expecting, but now I’m in this whole new Hollywood world and it’s going amazingly. I’m so excited for the fans, and I can’t wait for my fans to see what’s next,” she added.

Banks also revealed her reaction to Luke Skywalker showing up during the season finale.

First, Banks noted she knew Luke was showing up, ““I was in the scene as well, so I had to know a little bit, I read the script.”

She then added, “But it was so cool watching it as well because every time The Mandalorian came on, it was always on a Friday so it was right before I went to work at SmackDown. I was watching as a fan with everybody else and freaking out even though I’m on the show and then I walked to work.”

“Everybody backstage was freaking out, and it’s just so cool to see your co-workers freak out about something that’s not just wrestling. It’s usually, ‘Great match!’ or ‘Great segment!’ Instead it’s, ‘You’re on freaking Star Wars, The Mandalorian.’ That episode was so cool and I was like, ‘Yep, of course I am,'” she asserted.

Little is known about what the third season of The Mandalorian will entail. A recent rumor claimed that Din Djarin will send out a signal calling for other Mandalorians. As for why he is calling them it’s unclear.

That rumor comes from Making Star Wars and the site’s Editor-in-Chief Jason Ward. Ward notes, “While details are still sparse, it sounds like disparate individual Mandalorians from around the galaxy answer a call Din Djarin sends out to the galaxy for help.”

He adds, “Din Djarin’s legend is growing throughout the galaxy as rumors of a true Mandalore returning is heard throughout the galaxy. When Din makes the call, it is answered by more Mandalorians that you could have ever imagined.”

Ward explains that at least 75 other Mandalorians will answer Djarin’s call. That’s not an unheard of number as quite a few Mandalorians showed up to defend Djarin in the show’s first season from Carl Weather’s Greef Karga.

Unfortunately, those Mandalorians would eventually be exterminated, aside from Emily Swallow’s Armorer, when Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon attacked Nevarro.

A separate rumor from back in May detailed that Wookies would be showing up for Season 3. That rumor came from the Bespin Bulletin, who claimed, “I’ve heard of a Wookie showing up again as of late from a secondary source and even saw proof that a Wookie might be appearing in The Mandalorian Season 3 from a new source.”

The Instagram user added, “I don’t know if the Wookie is of any significance, if it’s a character we’re familiar with or if even just a background character.”
