Florence Pugh Claims Instagram Blocked Her Posting Her Own Appearance In Hawkeye

Black Widow and Hawkeye actor Florence Pugh claimed that Instagram blocked her from posting photos of her appearance in the Disney+ show Hawkeye.

Pugh posted an image to her Instagram Stories with the claim.

It reads, “I never thought me posting love about a show in which I appear on would get taken down.. but here we are here.”

“Someone on here complained so I’ve been blocked from posting my own appearance on a show that I’m very much in. Beyond ridiculous,” she added.

“Being in Hawkeye is a privilege and thank you to all who welcomed me on set and off and all who are watching,” she concluded.

Pugh then preceded to shared a clip of her appearance in the show to her Instagram Stories as well. You can see a screen of the clip below.

Pugh also shared two stills from Hawkeye to her main Instagram profile. She wrote, “…She’s here. #hawkeyeseries #YelenaBelova”

Pugh took on the role of Yelena Belova in Marvel Studios’ Black Widow film.

In a character description provided by Marvel Studios for the film, they explain she’s “a product of the Red Room’s ruthless training program, [and] has a secret history with the Black Widow that she is determined to address.”

They added, “When Yelena finds herself caught in a world with dangerous threats behind every corner; her only chance at survival may be through a tenuous truce with the person she blames for a lifetime of torment–Natasha Romanoff.”

Pugh’s appearance came in the show’s fourth episode that debuted on December 8th.

There are two episodes left in the miniseries that sees Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye team up with Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. New episodes of the show air on Wednesdays.
