Actor Ron Perlman, known for roles in Pacific Rim, Hellboy, and Sons of Anarchy, recently expressed his support for secession.

Perlman took to Twitter where he wrote, “It’s time that every state they would elect republicans to represent them, and all of the rest of us separate.”

“You don’t wanna live in my world and I certainly don’t want to live in yours,” he added.

Perlman has made his disdain for Republicans, Donald Trump, and Trump supporters known over the past couple of years.

Back in 2018, Perlman shared an image of a fake quote from Donald Trump. A representative from People Magazine had previously addressed the fake quote saying, “People looked into this exhaustively when it first surfaced back in Oct. We combed through every Trump story in our archive. We couldn’t find anything remotely like this quote –and no interview at all in 1998.”

Nevertheless, Perlman captioned the image tweeting, “I used to think this was true. Then I got to see his true heart. Racist. White Supremacist. Cares only for those who are rich. Amoral. Unethical. Sexual Predator. Deadbeat. Wouldrape and pillage the planet.”

“Oh yea, he’s a Republican alright,” he added.

Just a month before that tweet, Perlman described all Republicans as racists.

He wrote, “The Republican Party has become a one issue party. Where they once stood for small government and unfettered Conservatism, they have abandoned their philosophy, including their patriotism to be the party of racism and xenophobia. Those who stay…that is what u are.”

He also compared Republicans to Nazis and pedophiles back in December 2017.

Ever been to a party where dudes were grabbing chick’s asses, and where dudes were sneaking into little kid’s bedrooms, where Nazis were the coolest dudes in the house? Well then, you’ve been to the Republican Party!”, he tweeted.

Perlman more recently opined, “I know, I know, I’m slow. But I finally figured out that the republican party is the party of Donald J Trump. Meaning dignity-less, empathy-less, patriotic-less, and for whites only.”

The Hellboy actor is not the only celebrity to call for secession recently.

Wreck-It Ralph actor Sarah Silverman endorsed secession back in September. She said, ““I mean this may be a negative thought, or maybe a positive one, I don’t know. But if people aren’t getting along like in relationship, they break up, you know?”

“So like, why don’t we just finally just realize that this, these states aren’t working and like, divide up into like two or three countries? It’ll be like USA 1 and USA 2,” she asserted.

Silverman elaborated on her thought, “And they can be USA 1. Like the conservatives can be USA 1 because they love being number one and it means something to them and I’d love to have that be theirs. They can be USA 1. We’ll be USA 2 and we’ll be allies.”

“And you’ll come over here and we’ll go over there, and you know, when you come to certain… Many times, when you go to a different country, you have to get a vaccine. That’s that,” she said.

Silverman concluded, “By the end of the question, by the end of my answer, I have no idea what the question was. I don’t think I’m anywhere near it.”
