Fathom Events Announces Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] Trilogy Comes To The United States This Spring

The Fate franchise will return to U.S. movie theaters courtesy of Fathom and Aniplex with the Fate/stay Night [Heaven’s Feel] trilogy.

In April, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] I. presage flower & II. lost butterfly Double Feature will arrive in theaters. This Double Feature includes the full animated features of the first two chapters of the trilogy.

The final installment of the trilogy, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III spring song will arrive two weeks later in May.

The trilogy follows the “Sakura route” of the Fate/stay night visual novel. It will unravel “the truth behind the Holy Grail War.” It also concludes the story of Shirou Emiya and Sakura Matou.

Here’s the official description from Aniplex of the third and final film:

“The third route of the visual novel game, Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] (also known as the Sakura Route) is the saga following Fate (a.k.a. the Saber Route), depicting the wish of Saber, the Servant summoned by Shirou, and [Unlimited Blade Works] (also known as the Rin Route), which depicts the path taken by the hero, Shirou Emiya, through the battles fought alongisde the magus Rin Tohsaka.”

Attendees at both showings will receive an exclusive greeting video from the Japanese cast. Moviegoers for the final installment will receive an inside look at the Japanese premiere for the final film in the trilogy.

The Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] trilogy is produced by ufotable, who previously produced Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The films are directed by Tomonori Sudo with music by composer Yuki Kajiura.

“It is exciting to partner again with Aniplex of America to bring the final chapter in the ‘Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel]’ Trilogy to North American movie theaters,” Fathom Events Senior Director of Programming Brian Deulley said. “The incredible fans of this franchise have been so enthusiastic and supportive of these events and we expect the last installment to be the best one yet!”

The Double Feature will take place on Thursday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. local time.

The final installment debuts on Thursday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. local time.

Tickets go on sale on April 3, 2020.
