DC’s latest blockbuster event, Dark Nights: Metal, is almost here. In just a little over two weeks Dark Nights: Metal #1 will hit comic stands on August 16th.
To gear up for the event, DC brought in some big names for their variant covers for the Dark Nights: Metal #2. They include Andy Kubert, John Romita Jr., and Jim Lee along with Dark Nights: Metal interior artist Greg Capullo.
In Dark Nights: Metal #2, Batman continues his investigation into a century spanning mystery. Meanwhile, Superman and Wonder Woman will be on the hunt for a missing ally. However, when the World’s Greatest Detective uncovers a foe that even the Justice League might not even be able to handle, could it mean the doom for Earth’s heroes?
Now take a look at these gorgeous Dark Nights: Metal #2 covers:
Dark Nights: Metal aims to give the Justice League and the DC Multiverse in general brand new villains, new challenges, and new territories to explore. The League discovers the existence of the Dark Multiverse and are now launching an invasion after biding their time for thousands of years. The Justice League must find a significant amount of Nth Metal in order to stop the Dark Multiverse! If they don’t, they are “completely screwed,” as Scott Snyder says.
Dark Nights: Metal #2 is written by Scott Snyder with art by Greg Capullo. It hits comic book stands on September 13, 2017.
