Aladdin Runtime and When Tickets Go On Sale Announced – 50% Of Theaters To Have 3D Showings

Disney has announced not only the runtime for the upcoming live-action Aladdin, but also when fans can get their hands on tickets.

Our source indicates that the Aladdin run time is estimated to be 129 minutes, and tickets will go on sale on April 29th at 9:00AM PDT/12:00PM Noon.  That’s the Monday after Avengers: Endgame’s opening weekend.

Disney is also requesting theaters have 50% of all Aladdin shows be shown in 3D.

Show times should be available on your favorite ticket purchasing website or mobile app on Wednesday, April 24th. The film will have early screenings on Thursday, May 23rd at 6 pm local time.

Not only will tickets go on sale on April 29th, but Disney promises there will also be a new 60 second TV spot for the film.

Aladdin will be rated PG-13 and will be shown in Scope. It will be available in 2D, 3D, IMAX 2D and 3D, PLF, D-Box, and 4D.

Aladdin stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, and Alan Tudyk as the voice of Iago. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie based off a screenplay by Ritchie and John August.

The movie will feature the classic Aladdin songs from composer Alan Menken as well as new music from Menken and songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Aladdin will hit theaters on May 24th with early screenings on May 23rd!
