Hannah John-Kamen has landed a key role in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp according to Variety.
It is unclear what role John-Kamen will have in the movie, but Marvel had been meeting with actresses throughout May before finally choosing Hannah John-Kamen.
John-Kamen will join Paul Rudd who will reprise his role as Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly who will return as Hope van Dyne, the Wasp. Michael Douglas and Michael Pena are also expected to return for the film.
The sequel will retain Peyton Reed as director. Rudd and Gabriel Ferrari are writing the script.
John-Kamen has had a number of minor roles in the past. She starred in Game of Thrones as Ornela for two episodes and appeared as a First Order Officer in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She also starred in the SyFy television series Killjoys. She has also been tapped for Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One and just finished filming Tomb Raider.
Ant-Man grossed $519 million worldwide and $180 million domestically.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is expected to hit theaters on July 6, 2018.
