Avengers: Infinity War Behind The Scenes Footage Showcases on Entertainment Tonight

Last night’s Entertainment Tonight episode gave us a behind the scenes sneak peek (see above) of Marvel Studios’ upcoming epic Avengers: Infinity War as they sat down with a number of the big stars for the upcoming film.

The biggest reveal comes when we get a shot of Danai Gurira’s Okoye and Winston Duke’s M’Baku taking the fight to Thanos’ villainous Outrider army. We actually don’t get to see the Outriders given they are CGI created, but you see Okoye and M’Baku dishing out damage as they fight to protect Wakanda and the Earth from Thanos and his forces.

Danai Gurira described the experience she had on set with all of the big stars, “I geeked out a little when I was standing with them all.” Chadwick Boseman confirmed she geeked out, “I saw you.” Gurira playfully asks, “What did I do?” Boseman responds, “I came up to you and was like…” He then puts his arm on her shoulder and imitates comforting her.

Danai wasn’t the only one who was awestruck on set, Anthony Mackie described it as “the first day of school when you come back.” However, that shine quickly wanes as he joked, “And then by the end of the shoot, you want to kill everybody.” Could he be channeling his inner Thanos?

Along with the fight scenes in Wakanda, there’s also a shot of Anthony Mackie dressed up as Falcon in front of a green screen.

Maybe the biggest surprise from the behind the scenes look is the amount of dialogue Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk, will have. Ruffalo laughs, “No wonder I only have, like, four lines in the whole movie.” That’s a drastic change from Thor: Ragnarok when we saw the Hulk avidly talking quite a bit. It’ll be interesting to see if the Hulk actually regresses in intelligence when he reverts back to Bruce Banner for long periods of time.

My favorite part came from Scarlett Johannson when she took a shot at Chris Hemsworth’s new Thor hairdo.

“He’s hideous. I can barely keep my eyes on him.” She wasn’t holding anything back!

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
