The film is based off the c[easyazon_link identifier=”1401280714″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]rossover comic series written by James Tynion IV with the gorgeous artwork of Freddie Williams II[/easyazon_link].

It will see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make their way to Gotham City where Batman provides them a very Gotham welcome!

While the two will initially face off against each other, they will eventually team up together and take on a number of Batman’s most fearsome villains including the always deadly Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s al Ghul might not be the biggest of their worries. Shredder has also made his way to Gotham!

The film is directed by Jake Castorena using a screenplay by Marly Halpern-Graser.

It will feature the voice talent of Troy Baker, who will not only voice Batman, but the Joker as well. EW claims this is the first time for a voice actor to give voice to both Batman and the Joker in the same film.

Baker will be joined by Rachel Bloom who will voice Batgirl, Ben Giroux as Robin, Brian George as Alfred, and Jim Meskimen as Commissioner Gordon. Meskimen will also voice Scarecrow.

Darren Criss will voice Raphael. He will be joined by Kyle Mooney as Michelangelo, Baron Vaughn as Donatello, Eric Bauza as Leonardo.

As for the villains, John DiMaggio voices Mr. Freeze, Tara Strong will be Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, Tom Kenny is the Penguin, Carlos Alazraqui is Bane, Cas Anvar is Ra’s al Ghul, Keith Ferguson is Baxter Stockman and Two-Face, Andrew Kishino is Shredder.

Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is expected to be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital this spring. It will also be available in a 4k Ultra HD Combo Pack as well as a Blu-ray Combo Pack.
