Warner Bros. Animation released their first official trailer for Justice League vs. The Fatal Five. Take a look:
As you’re sure to notice, the animation style is very reminiscent of Warner Bros. Animation’s iconic Justice League Unlimited series. Not only does it feature a classic animation style, but the film will feature some of DC’s top voice talent.
Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as Batman. He will be joined by George Newbern as Superman, Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, Diane Guerrero as Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), Gabel as Thomas Kallor/Star Boy, Peter Jessop as Tharok, Tom Kenny as Bloodsport, Matthew Yang King as The Persuader, Sumalee Montano as Emerald Empress, Philip Anthony Rodriguez as Mano, Daniel Bobadilla as Miss Martian, Kevin Michael Richardson as Mr. Terrific, Noel Fisher as Brianiac 5, and Tara Strong as Saturn Girl.
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five will see the Justice League face a powerful threat from the 31st Century in the Fatal Five. Mano, The Persuader, and Tharok hunt down Green Lantern Jessica Cruz and will use her to free the Emerald Empress and Validus. However, the Justice League have discovered a new ally in Star Boy and he might be the key in putting a stop to the Fatal Five.
The film stars the original Fatal Five team created by Jim Shooter all the way back in [easyazon_link identifier=”B003NQZ8EQ” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Adventure Comics #352[/easyazon_link] which debuted in 1967. The team was originally conceived as enemies of the Legion of Super-Heroes after they worked with the Legion to destroy the Sun-Eater.
The film is directed by Sam Liu based off a script from Eric Carrasco and Jim Krieg and Alan Burnett.
