In the team, we see some familiar faces such as Negasonic Teenage Warhead played by Brianna Hildebrand and Colossus played by Stefan Kapicic. Some newcomers include Domino played by Zazie Beetz and Bedlam played by Terry Crews.

As you might know, X-Force is a special paramilitary group. In the comics, the team was founded by Cable and Domino way back during the 90s. The team made its debut in X-Force #1 in 1991. In the comic world, the group takes a more militant stance when it comes to fighting for Mutant rights. It’s something that has brought them at odds with the X-Men’s ideals at times.

In the comics, Cable played a major part in the group’s formation. However, based on the trailers it looks like Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool will be forming the team.

This Deadpool 2 TV spot followed a three-part teaser that went live during last night’s season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead. It came in a series of four tweets, three of which had mini teasers attached. The official Deadpool twitter account started in strong letting fans know of the coming of ZombieDeadpool. As you’d expect, Wade couldn’t help but throw in a Carl joke.

The first video we see a quick recap of past footage that was released.

Two hours later another tweet followed. This one also had a bit of a teaser, but with more Cable. We get to his primary motive

In a follow-up Tweet, we got another teaser, this time with more Cable. We get to see his primary motive, which is a young mutant. Most of the footage is from the previous trailer, but T.J. Miller does add at the end, “It’s time to get back on Linked In.”

Finally, in the third trailer, we get more eyes on the X-Force gang as well as a nice crack at the man bun tread. Deadpool compares them to the awe-inspiring mullets of yesteryear.

How will this team up pan out, we still don’t know. But it looks as if that the X-Force team will come together to do battle against Cable to save the life of a young mutant. This is an interesting spin on their origin if we can believe the trailer. We are still missing Jack Kesy’s villain. He’s believed to be playing Black Tom Cassidy and there are also rumors Juggernaut may be showing up. Either way, I’m way too excited to see this movie!

Deadpool 2 releases on May 18th.
