Are you ready for another Men in Black movie? If you aren’t, well too bad. A brand new Men in Black movie is happening and we’ve got our first look of Thor star Chris Hemsworth wearing the trademark suit.

Just Jared revealed the first look at Hemsworth in the suit as he readies to protect Earth from the worst of the cosmos.

As to what we can expect, this new Men In Black film won’t be a reboot in the traditional sense. It will be a soft-reboot.  The original movies starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are still canon, but this film will expand the MIB’s scope globally. They won’t just be dealing with threats in the United States. Much of the film is expected to take place in London.

Chris Hemsworth spoke with Variety about the tone they are trying to capture for the upcoming film:

“We’re basically trying to put a lot of humour in to it like the previous ones. These are obviously some big big shoes to fill, so we’re working our butts off on it to make something pretty epic and fun.”

Hemsworth also spoke to the change in location from previous MIB films:

“They’re trying to change up the locations, make it feel unique and different to the last ones as well. So I think you might even see some different countries, maybe. Some different cities than you’ve seen in the previous Men In Black movies.”

Hemsworth will be joined in the film by his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson. Taken superstar Liam Neeson will also be joining them in a role similar to Rip Torn’s Zed (Agent Zorn). He will play the head boss of the London bureau.

The film will be directed by The Fate of the Furious’ F. Gary Gray. It’s based off a script by Iron Man writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Producers Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald will produce alongside executive producer Steven Spielberg.

Men in Black 4 will reawaken the franchise after a seven-year slumber which began with the release of Men in Black 3. The film is expected to hit theaters on May 17, 2019.
