Graphic Artist BossLogic Imagines Tom Holland As Uncharted’s Nathan Drake

Graphic artist BossLogic worked his magic as he imagined Spider-Man: Far From Home’s Tom Holland as Uncharted’s Nathan Drake.

BossLogic captioned his work writing, “Both Nathan and Peter are good at swinging.” He then congratulated Holland on the role, “Congrats on the role, Tom!”

Take a look.

Sony announced yesterday that the long gestating Uncharted film would finally get a release date. It is currently slated to be released on December 18, 2020.

The film has had a troubled time working its way to a release date. It’s seen numerous directors attached to the project only to be replaced someone else. Not only have they had numerous directors, but there have also been a number of scripts for the movie as well.

The current director for the film is reportedly 10 Cloverfield Lane’s Dan Trachtenberg. He will be directing based off a script written by Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker.

It’s unclear what we can expect from this new script, but a previous version written by Joe Carnahan allegedly had Holland in the role as a young Nathan Drake as he learns the tricks of the trade as both a treasure hunter and thief from his mentor Sully.

The Uncharted franchise  developed by Naughty Dog kicked into full gear with the release of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune for the PlayStation 3 back in 2007. The game’s success has spawned a number of sequels including Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Darke’s Deception, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

A prequel story titled Uncharted: Golden Abyss was released on the PlayStation Vita in 2011. There has also been a card game spin-off titled Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. A standalone expansion titled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was released in 2017 starring Chloe Frazer as the protagonist.

The main games follow Nathan Drake as he travels across the world to find hidden treasure. The series features a number of supporting cast members including Drake’s mentor Victor Sullivan aka Sully. Other allies include Chloe Frazer, his wife Elena Fisher, his brother Samuel “Sam” Drake, Nadine Ross, and Charlie Cutter among others.

Drake has seen his fair share of foes including archaeologist Atoq Navarro, Gabriel Roman, pirate leader Eddy Raja, Harry Flynn, Katherine Marlowe, Talbot and more.

This won’t be the first time Nathan Drake is adapted to live-action. Nathan Fillion took on the role of the charismatic treasure hunter in an absolutely epic fan film.

What do you make of BossLogic’s mock up of Tom Holland as Nathan Drake? Are you looking forward to seeing Holland as Drake?
