Graphic Artist Creates ‘The Last Shawarma’ for Avengers: Infinity War

Graphic artist Boss Logic is firing on all cylinders as Avengers: Infinity War’s release date gets closer and closer. We’ve seen him create Hawkeye and Ronin Entertainment Weekly covers. He’s also created an Avengers: Infinity War poster inspired by Logan. But this poster might be his best yet.

Boss Logic describes it as ‘The Last Shawarma.’ As you can see it takes the iconic Last Supper painting by Leonardo Da Vinci and reimagines it for Avengers: Infinity War.

Here’s the original Leonadro Da Vinci painting for reference:

Boss Logic’s ‘The Last Shawarma’ features a plethora of Marvel’s Avengers and superheroes. You can see Tony Stark (Iron Man) sitting int he center of table. On his left is Spider-Man, Rocket Raccoon, Captain America, Groot, Mantis, Nebula, James Rhodes (War Machine), Valkyrie drinking a beer, Bucky Barnes, and Falcon. Star-Lord and Thor are behind Spider-Man. On Tony’s right we see Black Widow, Black Panther, Shuri, Okoye, Gamora, Doctor Strange, Drax, Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Bruce Banner.

There are quite a few Easter eggs in the post as well. You can see Stan Lee in the background and there is a poster of Korg from Thor: Ragnarok. And while it might seem Hawkeye is left out, he does appear to be on one of the television screens. He also appears to have left a note asking for them to save him a seat. You can see it on the Teamwork poster on the left of the image. Ant-Man and Wasp are also featured in miniature form.

While the painting is an obvious ode to Da Vinci’s The Last Supper, the Shawarma reference is to The Avengers first meal after they defeated Loki and saved New York City from the Chitauri invasion.

The Avengers and their superhero allies will take the battle to Thanos on April 27, 2018.
