Currently what is known about the upcoming fourth installment of the Avengers is pretty limited. However, we now know that Thanos will be making a return appearance in the fourth Avengers film.
Brought to life by acting giant Josh Brolin, the Mad Titan has been the centerpiece of the large web work of story arcs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently he shared a photo of his character from the latest line up of concept art of the infinity war movies. There was a caption on it stating, “Going back for more more MORE! I want it all.”
This comes on the heels of the fourth Avengers film starting production in a few weeks, and many fans are interpreting his post as confirmation that Thanos will return following Avengers: Infinity War. Though this might be an answer to one question it gives birth to many other questions now of how this could impact the story line.
Brolin made no secret about what he wanted to see in the picture. Though with Thanos being in the fourth Avengers movie one has to think of how Avengers: Infinity War might pan out. Will the heroes meet defeat? Will they have to regroup in the second movie? If the Mad Titian is in two movies his reign of distortion should be expected to be grand.
The next Avengers movie, Avengers: Infinity War has been described by Marvel Studios as the nexus of all of the movies that has come out since Iron Man in 2008. The film is currently being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The screenplay is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Infinity War has an ambiguous cast which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Vin Diesel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, Paul Bethany, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, and Josh Brolin as the villain Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
