There is no official synopsis for the film as of yet, but Dwayne Johnson did tease what you can expect out of his Black Adam character.
However, the Hollywood Reporter notes the meeting Johnson had with DC Comics guru Geoff Johns was actually to discuss a solo Black Adam movie! It will also allow Johnson and DC Comics to explore Black Adam’s antihero role and his tragic backstory that spawned out of DC Comics’ New 52 publishing line.
As far as Shazam!, the story centers on Billy Batson, a teenager who says a magic word (“Shazam!”) and is transformed into a magic-powered superhero. He is one of DC Comics oldest brands first appearing in 1939 in Whiz Comics #2 from Fawcett Comics. In the 1940s he was the most popular superhero, even outselling Superman.
