Here’s the official description:
“Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.”
Hellboy will star David Harbour as Hellboy, Ian McShane as Professor Bruttenholm, Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, and Milla Jovovich as Nimue the Blood Queen.
The film is directed by Neil Marshall based off a screenplay by Andrew Crosby and the Dark Horse Comics by Mike Mignola.

The movie is expected to adapt Hellboy creator Mike Mignola’s Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt, and The Storm and the Fury. In fact Mignola described that this film will be much more true to the comics than the previous films starring Ron Perlman and directed by Guillermo del Toro.
“I came in and I looked at some stuff, but they were trying to do something so close to what’s on the comics that they really leaned on what had been done by Duncan [Fegredo] and me in the comics.”
Hellboy comes to theaters on April 12, 2019.
