Loki’s Fate in Avengers: Endgame Revealed!

**Warning Major Spoilers for Avengers: Endgame Below**

Here’s what happens to Loki in Avengers: Endgame following his untimely death in Avengers: Infinity War.

As most Marvel Cinematic Universe fans know, Loki was killed by Thanos in the opening moments of Avengers: Infinity after the god of mischief attempted to kill Thanos with a magic dagger.

For his betrayal, Thanos snuffed the life out of the Asgardian, or should I say Frost Giant.

However, that would not be the end for Loki, as fans might have gathered following the announcement of a Loki TV show that will stream on Disney+ with actor Tom Hiddleston.

A report indicated that Loki had indeed been killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity, but he would somehow be able to jump through time and influence the course of events in his upcoming show.

That report was correct. Loki was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, but the Avengers travel back through time and alter the course of events from the original Avengers movie. After Loki has been defeated, Tony Stark and Ant-Man attempt to abscond with the Tesseract. However, an angry Hulk interrupts the heist and in the ensuing chaos, Loki is able to get control of the Tesseract and use it to teleport away, to where it is unclear.

Nevertheless, Avengers: Endgame has effectively returned Loki back to form after his horrible mischaracterization in [easyazon_link identifier=”B076X7F6BC” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Thor: Ragnarok[/easyazon_link]. He should be back to his villainous ways, and looking out for number one. This Loki never experienced prison on Asgard. He didn’t usurp the throne of Asgard and cast a spell on Odin and send him to a nursing home. He didn’t become Thor’s ally in Thor: Ragnarok and he most surely didn’t attempt to become a hero by slaying Thanos. He’s just been defeated by the Avengers after attempting to conquer Earth with the help of Thanos’ Chitauri army.

Avengers: Endgame is currently in theaters.
