Star Wars icon Mark Hamill took to Twitter to reveal the truth about the milk he had to drink on the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Hamill took to Twitter to have a little fun in a caption contest after a fan posted a photo of Mark on the set of Star Wars. Hamill offered his caption, “Note to self: Remember you’re on-camera & Disney signs your paychecks.”
However, he would then give us some details on the milk he drank in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He wrote, “Honestly though: the warm, oily, sickly-sweet milk dyed blue from the movie was gag inducing.” He added, “while this frosty non-dairy drink tasted like a yummy fruit smoothie.”

(Honestly though: the warm, oily, sickly-sweet milk dyed blue from the movie was gag-inducing 🤮-while this frosty non-dairy drink tasted like a yummy fruit smoothie. 😋 #GotBlueMilk? https://t.co/C4Qx1iFfMq— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) August 28, 2019
Hamill is most likely referring to the scene in The Last Jedi where he milks an alien’s breast and then proceeds to drink that milk. The scene was used in an attempt to show Skywalker as a deranged hermit, who lost his wits and sense of duty.
Given Hamill’s reaction after drinking the milk, it’s more than likely he was preventing himself from throwing up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he let is slurp down his face so he didn’t have to drink more of it. Just watching the scene makes me want to vomit.

It is possible that Hamill could be referring to Bantha milk seen in the original Star Wars film. But given, he’s commenting on a photo of him as Old Man Luke, I’m more inclined to believe he’s referring to the scene from The Last Jedi.

Hamill has been making headlines recently. He recently called for a boycott of Jimmy John’s restaurants after a decades old photo of the founder went viral. (Related: Star Wars Icon Mark Hamill and Daredevil Actor Vincent D’Onofrio Call for Boycott of Jimmy John’s Restaurants)
He’s also rumored to play the Joker in The CW’s upcoming Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths. (Related: Rumor: Mark Hamill to Play Joker in Arrowverse’s Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover)
What do you make of Hamill’s description of the milk? Did the scene make you want to vomit?
