You’ll definitely notice some familiar faces from the first two trailers. However, there is some new footage in this Black Panther international trailer. We get clips of Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America from previous Marvel movies including Captain America: Civil War and The Avengers.

We also get details about Black Panther’s new suit. It’s lighter and completely bulletproof now. And the reveal shows just how important T’Challa’s sister Shuri will play. Chadwick Boseman elaborated:

Her role is the most important. In the comic book, T’Challa is a scientist and a king, but my sister is the whiz kid. She is the one with that gift. She’s the Tony Stark of Wakanda. She’s witty, she’s cool, she’s funny. Now, T’Challa is good in science too, but she’s the whiz. That’s the way the story’s been told forever. T’Challa is technologically sound. He’s a scientist as well, but she’s the minister of technology.

Maybe the most significant reveal in this trailer is Erik Killmonger’s answer to T’Challa’s question, “What do you want?” Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger responds, “The Throne.” Talk about throwing down a gauntlet!

There also seems to be a pretty large dilemma facing Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther and it’s not Erik Killmonger. It’s the world discovering what Wakanda possesses. He worries if they find out, the people of Wakanda may lose their current way of life.

Black Panther leaps into theaters on February 16, 2018. The film stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan by Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue/Klaw, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu, and John Kari as King T’Chaka. Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler.
