Marvel Releases New ‘Powers’ Ant-Man and The Wasp TV Spot!

Marvel Studios released a brand new TV spot for Ant-Man and The Wasp titled “Powers.”

Check it out:

The TV spot hints at something powerful that could destroy the world. It’s unclear exactly what that is, but it appears to be something to do with Ghost and the Quantum Realm. We see Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost appearing to discover her new powers in what looks like a laboratory.

It’s unclear if her powers initiate the next scene, but we see a giant warehouse get blown apart from an internal explosion that emits an array of colors.

From there, Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym and Evangeline Lilly’s Hope van Dyne recruit Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang. However, he might be a little harder to recruit than the first film as this time he’s got a resume. He’s an Avenger!

We see some action shots that have graced the trailers including the one where the guy is trying to smash the Wasp with a newspaper. His aim isn’t that great, as he whacks a tomato instead.

There’s also the action sequence int he kitchen with the Wasp giving one bad guy a knee to the face. She also uses a frying pan to whack another guy.

There’s some “funny” dialogue between Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne as he tries to get Hope to tell him, “good job.”

It switches back to some more action shots with Lang riding on a flying ant and Wasp taking down some bad guys in a van.

We then see Lang become Giant Man as he frightens the beejeezus out of some ordinary folks who are just taking a ferry ride.

The trailer ends with even more action as Ant-Man and The Wasp try to figure out how to take down Ghost and there’s some mashed up scenes that take us back into the kitchen fight as well as show off Scott Lang’s associates led by Luis.

Ant-Man and The Wasp hits theaters on July 6, 2018. Will you be watching?
