New Avengers: Infinity War “The End is Near” TV Spot Drops

Avengers: Infinity War gets closer to its release date with every passing day and Marvel Studios is giving us bits and pieces to get us excited. The last bit is a brand new television spot titled, “The End is Near.” It runs for the first 30 seconds in the video below.

Take a look:

The new spot is primarily footage from the first trailer and the Super Bowl TV spot. The trailer begins with the Nick Fury’s monologue from The Avengers with a number of the Avengers actually reading it. However, the monologue takes a new meaning when one of Thanos’ villainous Black Order softly says, “The End is Near” as Thanos steps out of a portal ready to crush any who oppose him. We then get Thanos’ voice over as he says, “Dread it. Run from it. Destiny still arrives.”

There are also some really small shots added in. We get a better look at the spaceship Spider-Man is climbing on. The ship actually appears to have some kind of engine or track within its ring that is constantly moving. However, at the same time we get to see this track, the city belows takes on a whole new look. It’s not a bustling city. No, the buildings look like they’ve been attacked and hit by some kind of bomb. You can even see fires raging in some of them. However, most of them just look absolutely blown out and destroyed and on the verge of collapse.

We also get a much better look at the contraption Thor is in. He almost looks extremely tiny trying to operate some kind of device with all of his strength. You can almost see him exerting his strength to pull down on the lever with his left hand.

We also get a look at adolescent Groot. He appears to be in some kind of workshop. He looks almost sad and solemn, but if you look in the background you can see what appears to be on of Thanos’ portals. It’s possible he could be seeing the devastation Thanos left on the Collector after he interrogated him to discover where the Reality Stone also known as the Aether is.

What else did you see that we might have missed?

Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters on April 27, 2018.
