Christmas is coming early for Deadpool fans! No, not a trailer, but a new poster. Ryan Reynolds revealed the new poster on his Twitter feed saying,” Some might call this creation a masterpiece, but to me it’s just well hung art to be shared with the world.”

Take a look:

This is an amazing take on Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam. Deadpool takes the role of Adam and Cable as God.

It makes me wonder if this piece and how it’s being used will give us any hint of what we can expect from the upcoming sequel. I don’t want to read into this too much, but I wonder if Cable being from the future has anything to do with the creation of Wade Wilson’s Deadpool persona? Cable looks like he’s coming out of a portal from the future. Maybe Deadpool ends up dying in some fashion and Cable brings him back to life. Or it could be a completely But if you look into these things too hard you end up coming to strange conclusions such as this.

This new poster follows up on Deadpool’s take of Norman Rockwell’s iconic Thanksgiving painting. It also joins the hilarious Thanksgiving spread in Good Housekeeping and the absolute riot of a teaser trailer with Deadpool impersonating Bob Ross.

The lead-up to the Untitled Deadpool Sequel looks to be just as fun as what we saw for the the first movie. With the fate of Deadpool now in the hands of the mouse, the future might seem more in flux than we thought before. It makes me wonder if we might see the Merc with the Mouth make his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whatever may be the case I’m hopeful that star Ryan Reynolds will protect the film for fans.

What do you think? Will Cable bring Deadpool to life in the upcoming sequel? Tell us in the comments below!
