Universal revealed a brand new trailer for their upcoming Fast & Furious 9 movie and it’s a shot of adrenaline as the action and over the top stunts never stop.

According to the film’s official synopsis, the movie begins with Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto leading the quiet life, but that won’t last long as his forsaken brother Jakob played by John Cena enters the picture.

The description begins, “Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon.”

It continues, “This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming The Suicide Squad).”

And when they say world-shattering they mean it. The film takes place all over the world “from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tbilisi.”

The description concludes, “Along the way, old friends will be resurrected, old foes will return, history will be rewritten, and the true meaning of family will be tested like never before.”

The movie sees the return of director Justin Lin, who previously directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth films in the franchise.

The movie stars Vin Diesel, John Cena, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Helen Mirre, Kurt Russel, and Charlize Theron. The film also features Cardi B and a cameo by Ozuna.

The movie is produced by Neal H. Mortiz, Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Joe Roth, Clayton Townsend, and Samantha Vincent.

F9: Fast and Furious 9 arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021.
