The official title for the upcoming James Bond film starring Daniel Craig has been released alongside a teaser clip.

The film will be titled No Time to Die. The movie will hit theaters in the United States on April 8, 2020 and arrive 5 days earlier in the United Kingdom on April 3, 2020.

Take a look at the teaser trailer below.

James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli confirmed that the film will see Bond enjoying retirement in Jamaica. “Bond is not on active service when we start the film. He is actually enjoying himself in Jamaica. We consider Jamaica, Bond’s spiritual home. He starts his journey here and we’ve built an extraordinary house for him.” (Related: Cast and Writers Revealed for James Bond 25 Includes Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Jeffrey Wright, and More!)

The film will star Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Jeffrey Reight as Felix Leiter, and Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann. The film will also star Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, and Rami Malek.

Lynch’s character is rumored to take on the mantle of 007 in the film. A source told The Daily Mail, “There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007’, and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful and a woman.” The source added, “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman.” The source continued, “This is a Bond for the modern era who will appeal to a younger generation while sticking true to what we all expect in a Bond film. There are spectacular chase sequences and fights, and Bond is still Bond but he’s having to learn to deal with the world of #MeToo.” (Related: Report: Captain Marvel Actress Lashana Lynch to Play 007 in New James Bond Movie)

The film did hire Solo: A Star Wars Story actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge to make adjustments to the film’s script. Waller-Bridge previously detailed that the Bond franchise needed to evolve on how it treats women. “There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not [the Bond franchise] is relevant now because of who he is and the way he treats women. I think that’s bollocks. I think he’s absolutely relevant now. It has just got to grow. It has just got to evolve, and the important thing is that the film treats the women properly. He doesn’t have to. He needs to be true to this character.”

She added:

“I just want to make sure that when they get those pages through, that Lashana, Léa and Ana open them and go, ‘I can’t wait to do that.’ As an actress, I very rarely had that feeling early in my career. That brings me much pleasure, knowing that I’m giving that to an actress.”
