Game of Thrones and X-Men: Days of Future Past star Peter Dinklage was highly rumored to show up in Avengers: Infinity War. His involvement in the movie was confirmed in an official poster where his name is clearly visible. Exactly who he was playing is still a mystery.
But a new Avengers: Infinity War clip has many fans speculating Dinklage could actually be the voice behind Thanos’ top lieutenant Corvus Glaive. In the clip, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight get their butts handed to them by Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon. At the very end of the clip Proxima Midnight tells Glaive to get up. That’s when you hear Glaive respond, “I can’t.” It’s not much to go on, but it definitely sounds like Peter Dinklage’s distinct voice.
If Dinklage is Corvus Glaive, it shoots down a major theory that he would be playing Pip the Troll. A leaked set photo appeared to show him with his hair done up like Pip from the comics.
Unless he is doing double duty why would Dinklage voice Corvus Glaive after this set photo leaked of Pip? pic.twitter.com/ckwcLTMDax

Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo had previously revealed Dinklage would be recognizable. Joe Russo said, “You will [recognize him]. It may take you a beat or two, but you’ll certainly recognize him.” Anthony added, “That’s all we can say.”
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige had also previously said, “There are interesting people doing the voices. You’ll probably know when you see the movie.”
Peter Dinklage would definitely be an interesting person doing the voice of Corvus Glaive. If he is voicing Corvus Glaive he would join Carrie Coon who voices Proxima Midnight, Tom Vaughn-Lawlor, who voices the Ebony Maw, and Terry Notary, who will be Cull Obsidian.
Do you think Dinklage is Corvus Glaive? Do you think he could be both Glaive and Pip the Troll?
