Nick Fury recruits Spider-Man to take on a plethora of villains in the first Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser trailer.
Take a look:
One thing is for sure is that the Mysterio suit looks pretty good from the brief moment we got to see it. It also appears that Sony and Marvel might be keeping true to Mysterio’s origin as he pretends to be a hero before his villainous ways are revealed.
However, they did add their own twist this time. He’s not posing as Spider-Man, but already has his own outfit and identity. It’s a change to be expected as none of the Marvel Studios films have been straight adaptation, but have tried to tell their own stories inspired by classic Marvel Comics.
Along with the teaser trailer. They also released the first poster.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is directed by Jon Watts from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
The film stars Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, Jon Favreau, JB Smoove, Jacob Batalon, Martin Starr, Marisa Tomei, and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Here’s the official description from Sony and Marvel Studios:
“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man™: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man™: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”
The film is expected to arrive in theaters on July 5, 2019.
