Rumor: Disney To Throw Out James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Script!

After firing James Gunn for a number of sickening Tweets involving pedophilia, child pornography, and molestation as well as a potential FBI investigation into possession of child pornography, a new rumor indicates Disney is also scrapping Gunn’s script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The report comes from Omega Underground’s Christopher Marc.

Gunn had hinted that his script had been completed back in June and Dave Bautista recently confirmed that the script had been completed and turned in.

If this rumor pans out to be true, Disney will also either have to find a new Drax or leave him dead after Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War. Dave Bautista, who plays Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, threatened to quit Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large in an interview with Short List.

“Where I’m at right now is that if [Marvel] don’t use that script, then I’m going to ask them to release me from my contract, cut me out or recast me. I’d be doing a James a disservice if I didn’t.”

Do you think Disney should toss out James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 script? Do you think they should even make the third film?
