Ryan Reynolds Officially Ends Production on Deadpool 2 in Hilarious Instagram Post!

It’s official! Deadpool 2 has wrapped its production. And though it met with some tragedy in the process, we can’t be happier to see everyone’s foul mouth merc returning to the big screen.

Ryan Reynolds took to Instagram to thank everyone involved in the production. Deadpool 2 production started this past June in Vancouver, Canada. In the post, Ryan spoke highly of the cast and crew. Don’t worry, he didn’t forget his charming humor.

That’s a wrap on DEADPOOL 2: A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE! Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. @davidmleitch… words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent. I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew. From our PA’s, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop department, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene… Thank you. I already miss being on set. Which is why I’ve decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin’s well appointed living room. #MaximumEffort

A+ for that Game of Thrones reference! In the post, Ryan Reynolds goes on to talk about how amazing the crew is, as well as his love for his own hometown, Vancouver. He even came out and let us know to expect a film “riddling …with easter eggs.” The guy sure knows how to sell his movie!

Deadpool 2, like the first movie, was a passion project and it was very apparent in how hard Reynolds worked to make it a reality. Even his own Twitter account is filled with evidence of this love. The first Deadpool film broke expectations by becoming the highest R rated film at the time with a worldwide gross of over $783 million dollars.

Deadpool 2 heads to theaters on June 1, 2018. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Josh Brolin as Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.

I can’t wait to buy my ticket.

Is Deadpool 2 on your 2018 to watch list? It’s on mine, let us know what movies you’re eyeing this coming year!
