The buzz surrounding Zack Snyder’s Justice League could net the director the chance to direct his sequels and much more.

JL 2 and 3 are said to be on the table again, according to a new scoop from Beyond the Trailer host Grace Randolph, as well as an opportunity to right the wrongs of another aspect of Snyder’s continuity.
Randolph heard “from multiple sources” Warner Bros. might want Zack Snyder to direct Wonder Woman 3. Some, in her tweeted words, “suits want Zack Snyder to direct Wonder Woman 3, which I think is an excellent idea.”
Why wouldn’t it be, at least on paper? The first Wonder Woman is considered by many to be the best film in the DCEU, while Wonder Woman 1984 failed and is unanimously panned as a misfire only months after it was finally released.

A big reason for that is Snyder’s teams of stunt people and effects artists assisted Patty Jenkins on the 2017 film whereas she went with her own people in the second round.
Resulting tones were very different, clearly. Warner would do well to avoid mistakes they just made and probably want to.
Wonder Woman 3 is greenlit and Jenkins is signed on so we’ll see how it goes for Snyder in getting the whole of his vision back.

Justice League 2 and 3 being on the table is an I-told-you-so moment for a number of reporters, but most notably Mikey Sutton of Geekosity. Sutton has said routinely on his site that sequels to The Snyder Cut are possible as long as it does well on HBO Max.
If it meets expectations – which can’t be hard after a thing like Wonder Woman 1984 – and demand is right then Warners would have to be willing to summon Snyder back to the negotiating table, as Sutton put it.

And if the studio won’t be willing, AT&T might be. Sutton’s sources have told him before the telecommunications conglomerate and parent company of WarnerMedia has pushed for a few big decisions at DC Films.
Among the things we can possibly thank them for is Michael Keaton returning to Batman and the Snyder Cut coming to fruition.
Odds are these Justice League sequels will wind up on HBO Max, part of a contained universe including other spinoffs like rumored movies or limited series starring Ben Affleck’s Batman and Jared Leto as the Joker.
HBO Max is AT&T’s baby so I consider the Snyderverse continuing there highly likely. There is the matter of a disenchanted Zack Snyder moving on to Netflix but money talks.
Others are reporting Justice League 2 has reached active development and IMDb has had a listing for the film for quite a while.
