Star Wars Celebration: J.J. Abrams Reportedly Gives Star Wars Fans Mystery McDonald’s Happy Meal Boxes

Star Wars Episode IX director J.J. Abrams and McDonald’s reportedly gave fans waiting in line for the Episode IX panel at Star Wars Celebration mystery McDonald’s Happy Meal boxes.

While, Conrad hints that they are mystery boxes, it’s possible J.J. Abrams and McDonald’s just provided everyone with Star Wars themed Happy Meal breakfasts.

Not only did they get Happy Meals, but they also got Episode IX themed beanies.

As for what was actually inside the box Nabill Carrillo reported it was “a burger and a small bag of apples.”

The Episode IX panel will take place later today at 11 am CDT and will be streamed to the Star Wars YouTube channel. The panel will feature J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy along with “surprise guests” to discuss the final film in the Skywalker Saga.

It’s more than likely the panel will release a short teaser clip for Episode IX as well as release the title for the film.

The line for the Episode IX panel appears to already be quite lengthy as shots from across the street show people lined up for an almost entire block.

And people who claim they are at the front of the line also show off a packed crowd.

This is actually a really solid move by Abrams, McDonald’s and Star Wars to reward their die-hard fans with some solid breakfast. Hopefully, they along with the rest of us Star Wars fans who weren’t able to make it to Chicago for Star Wars Celebration will be rewarded with an awesome Episode IX panel.
