It might be hard to find anything nice said about Ezra Miller given all the actor’s conduct and bad publicity over the last two years. The star of The Flash has a growing rap sheet of incidents that have actually taken place in various parts of the world.

Somehow, though, the troubled actor has not only managed but also been allowed to show up for reshoots of the much-delayed DC film, with few reports of ill behavior or scenes made in the negative sense.

In fact, as strange as it sounds, people Miller works with often have nothing but praise for the actor’s professionalism and ability. Last month, American Psycho director Mary Harron talked about a biopic of Salvador Dali that Miller made with her, starring as the surrealist.

“(Miller is) one of the greatest actors I worked with,” she told Deadline during the Toronto International Film Festival, further declaring that Miller “arrived on set to my amazement with a complete worked-out performance.”

Such remarks aren’t limited to indie films either, as one of Miller’s The Flash co-stars had positive things to say as well. Northern Irish actress Saoirse-Monica Jackson likewise complimented the erratic star’s portrayal of Barry Allen and talent.

“Honestly it was so amazing for me to see that level of production and that level of creative freedom and scope,” Jackson said of life on the set of the superhero film itself. “A lot of our scenes were improvised, and I think that it was a really supportive and creative environment.”

On Miller, she added, “And what a remarkable talent, and I think what a brilliant Flash. It’s just the perfect casting for The Flash.”

In her little interview with Vanity Fair, Jackson continued, “When the world sees that performance, they’ll be completely blown away. I had an amazing time on that job and I think that it definitely made me a better actor.”

She hints here that she shares scenes with Miller but, with a lid on her role, Jackson can’t say much else. “I’m so scared of Warner Bros. [Laughs] I’m just so delighted that I got the part that I’m so scared to even speak about it in case I get fired,” she admitted.

On the other hand, Ezra Miller could end up getting fired when all is said and done. For now, though, Warner Bros. Discovery believes enough in both Miller’s performance and The Flash to keep the troubled actor around.
