Zack Snyder Supports Petition for Director’s Cut of Justice League

Fans created a petition to Warner Bros. asking for a Zack Snyder Director’s Cut as well as Tom Holkenberg’s (Junkie XL) music score for home release. The petition was originally created by Roberto Mata and has already reached 145k signatures as of this writing. However, the petition gained a huge supporter when Justice League director Zack Snyder threw his weight behind it.

Roberto Mata posted on his Instagram that Zack Snyder is supporting the petition.

Mata reports, “Fellow DC and Zack Snyder Fan @fionadcpositive on Vero, is helping with the petition and Zack Snyder himself liked the petition to get his director’s cut! Keep sharing the petition wherever you can!”

Snyder has kept pretty quiet about the changes Warner Bros. made to the film following the tragic death of his daughter. He hasn’t commented on the numerous rewrites and reshoots the company made after he stepped away from the film. However, it appears he might be ready to speak-up or at least he’s silently putting his weight behind seeing his vision of Justice League come to home release.

Warner Bros. faced a similar situation following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In that case, they caved to fans demands and released an Ultimate Cut version of the film. It filled in many of the plot holes as well as character motivations that were missing from the original theatrical release.

Justice League is currently in theaters. It stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Flash, and Henry Cavill as Superman.
