At around the 21:35 mark, DeRosa brings up Carano stating, “I was saying it the other day about Gina Carano. It’s like look you can say that her tweet was stupid or clumsy or whatever. But the reaction to it, to me, was so crazy that I was like, ‘guys this is going to be a thing you look back on…”
He then goes on to note that President George W. Bush was being called the “devil” and that his supporters were called racists and other kinds of hateful and horrible things when he was President, but he is now doing the talk show circuit.
DeRosa notes, “He goes on Kimmel and he kicks back and he gets applause breaks and everybody goes, ‘Ah he’s kind of cute.'” He later states, “And they are going to be doing that with half of these cancelled people. And going, ‘s**t man, sorry about that. sorry about the last eight…'”
The conversation then turns to PeeWee Herman before Burr appears to bring it back to Carano.
He says, “It’s a weird time. I don’t know. I kind of… Unless she did some truly horrible shit. I don’t know.”
Later he would state, “If you make like a bad comparison. If you come off like Joe trying to find where Atlanta is compared to New York. That’s not homophobic. That’s just ignorant.”

The conversation would continue with DeRosa paraphrasing why Disney and Lucasfilm fired Carano. For clarity, Carano shared to her Instagram Stories a post from warriorpriestgympodcast that warned of the dangers of hating your neighbor and how it can lead to extreme violence.
You can see the post below.
Eventually Burr would respond to DeRosa saying, “I think there is just too many channels. And then you gotta do sensational s**t.”
He continued, “I don’t know what the f**k it is. I’m on that f***ing show. Now, I gotta watch what the f**k I say.”
Burr would then praise Carano, “She was an absolute sweetheart. Super nice f***ing person. And you know whatever and somehow someone will take this video and they’ll make me say something else and try to get rid of my bald action figure.”
Burr continues, “How it is out there. It’s f***ing crazy time. People just waiting, laying in the weeds.”
Later in the video, they would begin talking about cancel culture in general, and Burr would state, “Now it’s becoming like, ‘Hey you made an ignorant comparison. (flushing sound) there goes your dream, right?”
He then questions, “I look at that and it’s like, ‘Who the f*** stands up to that?'”
Burr would eventually want to change the subject saying, “Can we just talk about something else? Who gives a f***? Joe, let’s talk about taste buds. Jesus Christ we are sitting here talking about Britney Spears and f***ing Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake s*** from 20 years ago.”
Burr previously discussed Carano’s firing on his Thursday Afternoon Monday Morning Podcast from February 12th.
He stated around the 5:00 mark, “I’m having a weird week. I’m having a great week and then… I’m mostly having a bad week because social media took out yet another friend of mine and I just don’t know. I don’t know. It seems like now you can make a statement that is uninformed. It’s just unbelievable. It’s unreal. It’s just f***ing. I don’t get it.”
He continued, “I don’t agree with what I read, but I mean do I think that then you should just… Everybody gets the electric chair. There’s just no like, ‘Hey, you know you might want to read up on this a little bit more before you compare this to that.’ It’s just like flamethrower, lit, done. F***ing crazy, man. F***ing crazy. Crazy god damn times.”
