CD Projekt Red Partners With Anonymous Content To Develop ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Live-Action Project

CD Projekt Red announced they have partnered with Anonymous Content to develop a new live-action Cyberpunk 2077 project.

This new live-action project is expected to be a “brand-new story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.”

The project is currently in its early development stage and CD Projekt Red and Anonymous Content are seeking a screenwriter.

The project will be produced by Garrett Kemble, David Levine, Ryan Schwartz and Bard Dorros as well as Charlie Scully.

Anonymous Content’s AC Studios will serve as the production studio and CD Projekt Red promises “the project will be developed in close collaboration with the Cyberpunk 2077 creative team.”

Anonymous Content previously produced HBO’s True Detective and USA Network’s Mr. Robot. They’ve also produced The Revenant and Spotlight. The studio currently produces Saint X, Shantaram, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, and the second season of Random Acts of Flyness.

They also have season four of True Detective, Taika Waititi’s Time Bandits, Alfonso Cuarón’s Disclaimer, and Savant in the works.

CD Projekt Red previously worked with Netflix to create the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series with Studio Trigger. They also released the novel Cyberpunk 2077: NO_COINCIDENCE by author Rafal Kosik.

They are also currently developing the board game Gangs of Night City with publisher CMON. The studio also released their spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 titled Phantom Liberty.
