DC and Fox Team Up for ‘Gotham Stories’

While Gotham is still on its mid-season break and won’t turn until the end of this month, February 29th, Fox, DC, and Warner Bros. have teamed together to put forth an original story, Gotham Stories that will bridge the gap between the first and second half of the season.

Gotham Stories will be a five-part motion comic. The motion comics will be 60 seconds in length each and will be available to view each week on IGN. You will be able to catch 30 second versions of the series on Fox’s X-Files leading up to the midseason premiere of Gotham. The first one aired last night.

Prominent cast members lend their voice talent to the motion comic including Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin), Camren Bicondova (Cat), Nathan Darrow (Victor Fries), Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon), and Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock).

The storyline for Gotham Stories was outlined by Gotham producer and writer Rebecca Cutter along with senior writer, producer, and Fox on-air promo creative Bart Montgomery. The script is by Tony Bedard with the artwork by Matt Haley. The series is produced by VP Fox on-air promo creative Julio Cabral.

DC also plans to collect the motion comic into print form and provide a special collector edition.

New episodes will air every Monday on IGN until the mid-season premiere of Gotham.
