SECRET’S OUT!

Mann would go on to describe Jericho’s powers.
In the comics, the character has always used sign language, as his vocal cords severed by assassins.
Jericho’s mysterious powers are activated by his gaze — if he locks eyes with people he can control their bodies.

DC Universe released an official description of Jericho for Titans:
“Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan.”
Jericho was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez. The character first appears in [easyazon_link identifier=”B00KXHX5Y8″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Tales of the Teen Titans #43[/easyazon_link] in 1984.
With the casting of Jericho, it’s more than likely Titans will adapt the iconic [easyazon_link identifier=”140127577X” locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Judas Contract[/easyazon_link] storyline that sees the Titans face off against Deathstroke, who will also be joining Titans Season 2.
This won’t be the first time the character has appeared in live-action. A version of Jericho was played by Liam Hall on Arrow.
The character has undergone a number of changes throughout the comics. In the New 52 version of the character, the character was actually able to talk using his voice.
In the most recent iteration in DC Rebirth, Jericho is turned into a bisexual. He’s also able to communicate by syncing his thoughts with a Bluetooth device that converts his thoughts into a computerized voice.
