Marvel TV will expand their partnership with Hulu with two new live-action shows centered on Ghost Rider and Helstrom.
The Ghost Rider series will spin out of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with Gabriel Luna reprising his role as Robbie Reyes as Ghost Rider.
Luna confirmed he would reprise the role via Twitter.

Both of the series are expected to debut on the streaming platform in 2020.
Ghost Rider
The Ghost Rider series will see Robbie Reyes live near the Texas/Mexico border. He will bring his unique brand of vengeance as he struggles to control his power granted to him after he is consumed by hellfire and bound to a demon.
Ingrid Escajeda will serve as the showrunner for the Ghost Rider series. Escajeda will also executive produce the show alongside Paul Zybsweski and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb.
Helstrom
The Helstrom series will focus on siblings Daimon and Ana Helstrom. They are the son and daughter of a serial killer. But unlike their their serial killer parent, the two siblings use their unique abilities to hunt down those who are terrorizing humanity.
Paul Zbyszewski will serve as showrunner and will executive produce the show alongside Marvel’s Jeph Loeb.
The Helstrom series sounds like it will be adapting Daimon Hellstrom and his sister Satana’s storyline from the comics.
Daimon Hellstrom first appeared in Ghost Rider #1 and was created by Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich in 1973. The character is the son of Satan and a mortal woman named Victoria Wingate.
Both Daimon and his sister Satana are trained in magic and are able to tap into their demonic heritage. While Satana embraced her demonic heritage, Daimon would embrace his human side. In fact, in his first appearance he would team-up with Ghost Rider to fight both Satan and Witch Woman.
Given Ghost Rider, Daimon, and Satanna have so many similarities it’s quite possible the two shows will have some crossover, especially since Paul Zbyszewski is attached to both projects as an executive producer.
The two new series will join Hulu’s other Marvel show in [easyazon_link identifier=”0785185585″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Marvel’s Runaways[/easyazon_link].
They also announced a set of animated shows that include Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show, and Marvel’s Howard the Duck. These four animated shows are expected to culminate in Marvel’s The Offenders similar to how Marvel’s Netflix shows led up to The Defenders.
