The second Black Panther trailer that dropped in October gave us our first look at the main antagonist and villain of the film, Erik Killmonger, who will be portrayed by Michael B. Jordan.
We decided to head down to Flashback: Comics in Woodbridge, Virginia and talk to comic book expert and store manager, Troy David, to get a better understanding of who Erik Killmonger is and how he will match up against T’Challa in the upcoming film.
Troy details three main factors Erik Killmonger brings to the table that makes him especially dangerous for T’Challa and Wakanda. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with and T’Challa better not underestimate him or he might find himself looking up at Killmonger as the new King of Wakanda.
Watch:
Needless to say T’Challa has his work cut out for him.
I can’t wait to see Michael B. Jordan bring Erik Killmonger to the big screen and match his strength, wits, and resources against the might of Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa, the Black Panther, and the kingdom of Wakanda.
