Actor James Woods, who played Hades in Disney’s animated Hercules movie, questioned if Roseanne Barr will be getting her job back after Disney rehired James Gunn to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Woods wrote on Twitter, “Oh, and is Roseanne back on Roseanne, too? Oh, wait…

Roseanne Barr’s ABC sitcom, Roseanne was cancelled after the actress tweeted, “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj” referring to President Obama staffer Valerie Jarrett.
ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey would condemn Roseanne’s tweets, “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
According to the Daily Wire, Roseanne initially defended the tweet by saying she didn’t realize that Jarrett was not white. She would later tweet out that she was referring to anti-semitism in the Planet of the Apes movie written by Rod Serling.
Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism. That is what my tweet referred to-the anti semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want.

When James Gunn’s pedophilia tweets and blog posts surfaced, Roseanne blasted those defending Gunn saying, “I’m disgusted to read all of the support for James Gunn’s pedophile jokes-as the same people supported blacklisting me for a joke they didn’t even understand.”

Gunn had previously called on Hulu, which is partially owned by Disney, to stop advertising on Fox News’ Laura Ingraham show. He even encouraged his followers to campaign for Hulu to stop advertising on her show.
I’m really looking forward to season two of Handmaid’s Tale so I hope @hulu stops advertising on the Aunt Lydia show – uh, I mean, on the Laura Ingraham show, so I can watch it. Online bullying & shaming of teenagers should not be supported by Hulu. Let them know.

He also insinuated that Roseanne was racist after she indicated she had been using Ambien when she made her tweet about Valerie Jarrett.
But Ambien can cause people to say the truth about themselves, as I once spent 2 hours on Periscope while in Bogota, Colombia at 3 a.m. answering fans’ questions about the most intimate details of my sex life. Some of you still love to bring this up. I have since quit Ambien. https://t.co/OfwFc1GU7J

Woods wasn’t alone in questioning if Disney would also rehire Roseanne.
Forgiveness is a powerful thing. I’d love to see this experience allow @Disney @ABCNetwork to rehire Roseanne. James, hopefully you can champion this cause as so many have done for you. It’s time to let these rash firings subside.

James Gunn got his job back? James Gunn felled Disney of all titans?
And yet, Roseanne can’t catch a break because people just decided for themselves that her Tweets are racist? Don’t tell me there isn’t a bias.

Question for those celebrating James Gunn re-hiring:
How do you feel about Roseanne?
— Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) March 15, 2019
I hate he got fired. I also hate the hypocrisy on both sides. The left got Roseanne and many others fired for tweets. Gunn had “questionable” tweets and the left calls foul when he’s fired. How about we just let people say what they want and fire for real actions? https://t.co/EWA9YSQEoa

Do you think Disney should rehire Roseanne after they rehired James Gunn? Do you think if Disney doesn’t rehire Roseanne, they are setting a dangerous double standard?
