Ant-Man Actor and Rapper T.I. Calls President Trump a “Madman”

Ant-Man actor and rapper T.I. unloaded on President Donald Trump in a recent interview where he called him a “madman.”

In a short clip released by TMZ promoting T.I.’s upcoming appearance on BET’s Raq Rants, host Raquel Harper began the conversation talking about her own disgust for President Trump, “So, I’m pretty much disgusted right now in every single way about Donald Trump and what he’s doing with this country.” She would then go on to task T.I.’s opinion about the President.

T.I. responded:

“I think privilege, entitlement, hypocrisy, the fact that people think the color of there skin makes them a better person and more qualified and more eligible for opportunities. And we can’t continue to call ourselves the greatest nation in the world if we continue to behave this way.”

He then spoke about the perception of the United States on the world stage and provided his strong opinion on Donald Trump:

“On the world stage, it’s a joke. How could you let such a thing happen to your country? How could you put the most prestigious office to be held in the free world. How could you let that fall into the hands of a madman.”

This isn’t the first swipe the rapper turned actor has taken against Donald Trump or his family. Back in October, he released a music video that featured a woman posing as First Lady Melania Trump who began strip dancing inside a replica of the Oval Office.

The music video quickly came under fire from Melania Trump’s Director of Communications Stephanie Gisham, who called for a boycott of T.I.

While the [easyazon_link identifier=”B07J52FGX6″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Ant-Man and the Wasp[/easyazon_link] actor hasn’t been as active against the administration such as the likes of Ron Perlman, he has gone after other rappers who have been either openly warmed up to the Trump administration or have decided to not entirely critical of President Donald Trump and his America First policies.

He specifically targeted fellow rapper Kanye West and his meeting with President Donald Trump earlier this year. He called the meeting “shameful” on Instagram.

What do you think about T.I.’s comments? Do you think President Donald Trump is a madman? Or do you think T.I. is just another celebrity who is trying to get attention by insulting the President of the United States?

T.I.’s full interview with Raquel Harper will air on BET at 11 pm ET tonight.
