Aquaman Actor Amber Heard Disables Instagram Comments After Admitting To Hitting Ex-Husband Johnny Depp

Aquaman actor Amber Heard disabled comments on her Instagram page after admitting to hitting ex-husband Johnny Depp.

It appears Heard disabled comments around February 19th given there are no comments posted after then on a number of her posts.

Many of her recent posts state “comments on this post have been limited.”

However, a number of those posts don’t have any comments on them.

Other posts simply do not have any comments at all.

The Daily Mail released audio at the end of January from a conversation between Depp and Heard from 2015. In the audio, Heard admits to physically attacking Depp.
She says, “I’m sorry that I didn’t, uh, uh, hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched.”

She added, “You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this. But I did not punch you. But I did not f****** deck you. I f****** was hitting you.”

Towards the end of the audio she stated, “I can’t promise you that I’ll be perfect. I can’t promise you that I won’t get physical again. God I f****** sometimes get so mad I lose it.”

Following the release of the first audio tape, The Daily Mail would release a second one. On this second tape, Heard tells Depp, “See how many people believe or side with you.”

She also claimed that she never views herself as a victim, “And I never think about myself that way. I never defend myself that way. I never see myself as a victim.”

Following these tapes, a fan petition has burgeoned to over 367,000 signatures calling for Amber Heard to be removed from the Aquaman sequel. In early February the petition had a little less than 100,000 signatures.
