Captain America actor Chris Evans took to Twitter to attack Vice President Mike Pence following an interview on the Today Show.
Evans would call Mike Pence “an obsequious little worm.”
Wow. @VP is an obsequious little worm desperately trying to sanitize Trump’s lies. He has no shame. Keep tap dancing you fool. We all see you. https://t.co/dk0MN5kf07

Evans’ attack against the Vice President came after Mike Pence discussed President Donald Trump’s impression that previous administrations had talked about the importance of border security and addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
However, Vice President Mike Pence wouldn’t be Evans’ only target. He also called out the Today Show and journalists at large for asking weak questions. He would also claim the White House is sending out misinformation.
Also, this line of questioning was way too soft. The volume of misinformation coming out of the White House is staggering. Without hard questioning when given the chance, the lying becomes normalized. American journalists need to find their courage. https://t.co/dk0MN5kf07

This isn’t the first time Chris Evans has made his political viewpoints known. In October, Evans appeared in a get out the vote video for the anti-gun organization March for Our Lives.
Evans was also accused of racism by Turning Point USA Communications Director Candance Owens after Evans weighed in on a Kanye West Tweet, where he described what wearing his Make America Great Again hat means to him and advocated for the abolishment of the 13th amendment in regards to prisoners still allowed to be enslaved.
Evans would write, “There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue. The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying.”
Chris Evans has also targeted President Donald Trump comparing him to Back to the Future villain Biff because President Trump accidentally misspelled the word “counsel.” Evans would declare the President a moron and tell him, “You don’t read shit.”
Evans will reprise his role as Captain America for Avengers: Endgame, which appears to be the last time he will take up the shield. He posted an emotional tweet after Endgame had finished filming seemingly indicating he would be done with the role.
What do you make of Chris Evans behavior? Do you think he was right to call Mike Pence a worm? Do you think he’s blowing things out of proportion? Will this effect whether or not you see Avengers: Endgame?
