The one thing that we sometimes miss in our writing when talking about the actors who portray heroes on screen, is how they highlight some of the best qualities they portray on the big screen with their real world actions. We got to see that happen this past Palm Sunday.
Fox News host and journalist Shannon Bream took to Twitter to ask for help. Bream sent out a call asking for one of the Avengers to visit a young boy who was dying.
Need your help Twitterverse – trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he want is a greeting from one of the Avengers. If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!

It didn’t take long for some of the actors who play the heroes on screen to reach out to Shannon Bream. One of the first to reach out was Ryan Reynolds who portrays Deadpool.
I’m more of a “Reserve Avenger”. But happy to help. DM me.

Ryan Reynolds has down quite a bit of charity work in the past and has used his onscreen persona as Deadpool to make young fans dreams come true. He’s done quite a bit of work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in the past. Ryan offered his help as a “Reserve Avenger.”
After Ryan Reynolds responded, Chris Evans who plays Captain America added his name to help the young boy.
Happy to! DM me

Paul Bettany, who plays the android Vision followed suit:

Chloe Bennet, who plays the Inhuman Quake on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., also expressed her interest in making the dying young boy’s wish come true.
What’s his name?

Shannon Bream was happy to answer Chloe Bennet’s questions revealing the young boy’s name is Emilio.

Finally, Shazam actor Zachary Levi offered his services in the form of a video message to the young man. Not only would he get a message from Shazam, but Zachary Levi promised he would send impressions of Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, and Chris Hemsworth.
I’m not technically an Avenger, but I’d be happy to record a video for the little man and do my best impressions of @ChrisEvans @prattprattpratt @chrishemsworth or any other Chris if necessary. ? Where can I/we send these messages, and what’s his name?! https://t.co/jBTOepXzOf

It’s truly amazing to see these actors who portray some of our most beloved heroes act this way. One Twitter user summed it up perfectly.
It’s making me cry how so many people are trying to help. Theres still hope for the world.

It’s truly amazing to see so many people come together to help out and fulfill this dying boy’s wish. But I’m sure he’ll be in the hearts and minds of these actors and actresses who give of their time to make someone’s day a little brighter.
