The leader of ComicsGate has finally been revealed in a brand new video from Ethan Van Sciver.

The video flies in the face of many critics of ComicsGate, many who are professionals working in the industry like Ron Marz, Tamra Bonvillain, Kwanza Osajyefo, and Tim Doyle. These creators have implied ComicsGate supporters are everything from a “hate campaign to white supremacists to Uncle Toms.”
Not only does this video fly in the face of these creators, but many creators who have embraced the ComicsGate movement are reaping the financial rewards of treating their customers and their prospective customers with respect. Not only that they are promising to tell exciting new stories.
The most successful campaign to this date has been Ethan Van Sciver’s Cyberfrog: Bloodhoney. He’s raised over $538 thousand bucks.
While Van Sciver’s success is astounding other creators are reaping the benefits too. Mitch Breitweiser, Mark Pellegrini, and Elizabeth Breitweiser’s Red Rooster: Golden Age has currently raised over $121 thousand.
Diversity & Comics teamed up with Jon Malin and Brett R. Smith for Jawbreakers – Lost Souls which has raised over $374 thousand. Diversity & Comics would follow that up with Iron Sights which raised almost $120 thousand.
Blake Northcott raised over $39,000 for her upcoming novel The North Valley Grimoire.
Chuck Dixon, Benjamin L. Henderson, Jimbo Salgado, and Bryan Arfel Magnaye from Cautionary Comics raised over $39,000 for Ravage – Kill All Men.
Mike S. Miller’s Lonestar has raised over $36,000.
Timothy Lim, Chuck Dixon, Brett R. Smith, and Mark Pellegrini have raised over $36,000 for Trump’s Space Force.
Chuck Dixon and Kelsey Shannon and Antarctic Press raised over $12,000 for Jungle Comics!
Jon Del Arroz has raised nearly $12,00 for his Flying Sparks book.
Nasser Rabadi and Shawn Langley’s Stardust has raised over $8500.
Jack Irons: The Steel Cowboy by Cody Fernandez, Maximilian D’allo, Vincent Rush, and Matias Laborde has raised over $7600.
The list could go on. ComicsGate is backing diverse products made from diverse creators. You have superhero fare, Lovecraftian tales, political satire, adventure, horror, and more.
With the plethora of exciting tales coming out, ComicsGate supporters are bound to find something they are interested in and they won’t have to deal with people who have decided to insult them and attack them at every turn.
