James Woods Responds to Twitter Ban

Actor James Woods has responded to his ban on Twitter.

The conservative actor was banned from the platform after quoting the television show The Wire. Woods wrote, “”If you try to kill the King, you better not miss.” #HangThemAll” The quote from The Wire paraphrases Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Woods’ girlfriend Sara Miller revealed Twitter claims the tweet violated their “rules against abusive behavior.”

Woods spoke to The Daily Wire where he indicated he will not be returning to Twitter, “Twitter demanded that I rescind my tweet paraphrasing Emerson.” He added, “It now seems they have chosen to delete that tweet from my account without my permission. Until free speech is allowed on Twitter, I will not be permitted to participate in our democracy with my voice. As long as Jack Dorsey remains the coward he seems to be, my Twitter days are in the past.”

Woods received a ton of support from his followers including President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump Jr. also questioned why James Woods was being silenced when the Hamas terrorist organization still has a number of accounts.

According to the U.S. Department of State’s official website, Hamas has been declared a foreign terrorist organization since October 8, 1997.

Woods did not indicate whether he would be joining any other social media platforms. Sara Miller did indicate that he is not active on “any othe social media sites.” She added, “Anyone claiming to be him is lying.”
