Make-A-Wish Gives Kids Superhero Training

In Albany, New York the Make-A-Wish Foundation organized superhero training with the cast of “Marvel Universe Live” at the Times Union Center. The training allowed kids like Nathan Weinberger who has a condition called ITP that doesn’t allow him to participate in sports due to his blood not clotting well.

However, he was able to train to be a superhero yesterday. The kids did push-ups and tossed their own shield like Captain America and even smashed city walls like Hulk.

While Nathan may have been participating in superhero training, his dream is to be a F18 pilot. He hopes to visit Annapolis and fulfill his dream as a Navy pilot.

Nathan and his two brothers along with a number of other kids also attended last nights showing of “Marvel Universe Live” courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
