The Last Jedi Apologizers Can’t Handle Campaign to Remake The Film!

A Twitter account called “Remake The Last Jedi” announced they plan to remake The Last Jedi in order to save Star Wars.

They detailed they have a team of producers who are already planning to offer to cover the budget for the remake. They claim it’s not a joke and they are ready to have a conversation with Disney executives to remake the film.

I think it’s safe to say it’s definitely a troll account, and boy did their epic trolling work wonders. Hollywood celebs and Star Wars creators fell for it hard including Seth Rogen and Chuck Wendig.

Rogen believed the whole thing was real and kept questioning them about their funding.

Star Wars author Chuck Wendig’s responses are even funnier.

He appeared to catch on eventually that it appears to be a troll job.

And then Chuck decided to get a little nasty and insult fans who do not like The Last Jedi and would actually like the film remade.

When actually told the account was a troll job, Wendig seemed baffled.

Wendig and Rogen weren’t alone in getting hoodwinked. Plenty of other The Last Jedi apologizers fell for it.

I hope you got a great laugh at this absolutely brilliant troll job. I know I laughed just scrolling through all the responses!

In all seriousness, who wouldn’t want The Last Jedi remade and Star Wars saved?

Star Wars Episode IX is expected to hit theaters on December 20, 2019.
